Our Team

Henry DeBoer holds a Bachelor’s degree in horticulture and has been involved in the landscape industry for over 30 years. He began his work under the direction of his father who owned a prominent design-build firm north of Charlotte.

As the team’s leader, Henry contributes his vast experience in every aspect of DeSignia and maintains a current level of knowledge by attending association seminars and programs. His networking strengths have created a diverse and growing client base for DeSignia.

Mark Selles is a certified landscape designer (CLD) with 29 years of horticultural and business experience.

Mark has as his main focus, the design and sales aspect of the business. His attention to detail and his years of design experience have resulted in several successful and high profile projects including the Coca-Cola head office and the NUCOR Steel head office in Charlotte, NC.

Ashleigh Jackson Geremia is a certified landscape designer who has a horticultural degree and a bachelor’s degree in Art with a concentration in design.

In only six years, Ashleigh has made a reputation for herself as a creative and proficient landscape designer by winning the People’s Choice award (2007),  the Environmental award (2008), and two Honorable mentiones (2009, 2011) at the Southern Spring Show in Charlotte, NC.

Ashleigh continues to focus on design and marketing, and was directly involved in the creation of this website.

Steve Deluca is ICPI¹ certified and holds a Landscape Technician Certificate (CLT exterior) endorsed by PLANET².

Steve is a native to the Charlotte area and has been with DeSignia and its former organization for 23 years.

Steve continues to focus on the management of timely and professional landscape installations. His experience and attention to detail are the source of many compliments from existing and previous clients.

His direct involvement in installing showcase gardens at The Southern Spring Show and Home-a-rama have earned DeSignia various awards.

Matthew Posvar is ICPI¹ certified, holds a Landscape Technician Certificate (CLT exterior), endorsed by PLANET², is SRW³ certified, and has his NCICL.

In his 14 years of experience, Matt has achieved high grades in many additional upgrade courses and seminars through PLANET² and at community colleges. In 2003, Matt won the Landscape Grounds Management Award’s grand prize for his design build project.

Currently, Matt is focused on design and sales with a special focus on irrigation and outdoor lighting.

James DeBoer has an associates degree in turfgrass management with 7 years of practical experience in landscape maintenance.

James’ enthusiasm for client and garden care have earned him a key position in the quality control area of the landscape maintenance section of DeSignia.

James can routinely be found inspecting client’s sites to ensure a high level of quality.  James continues to be instrumental in advancing the organic program at DeSignia.
