Steve is a native to the Charlotte area and has been with DeSignia and its former organization for 28 years. Steve continues to focus on the management of timely and professional landscape installations. His experience and attention to detail are the source of many compliments from existing and previous clients. Matthew Posvar is ICPI¹ certified, holds a Landscape Technician Certificate (CLT exterior) endorsed by PLANET², and is SRW³ certified. Matt is a licensed Irrigation contractor and a licensed landscape contractor in the state of North Carolina. In his 18 years of experience, Matt has achieved high grades in many additional upgrade courses and seminars through PLANET² and at community colleges. In 2003, Matt won the Landscape Grounds Management Award’s grand prize for his design build project. Currently, Matt is focused on design and sales with a special focus on irrigation and outdoor lighting.

James DeBoer has an associate degree in turfgrass management with 12 years of practical experience in landscape maintenance. James’ enthusiasm for client and garden care have earned him a key position in the quality control area of the landscape maintenance section of DeSignia. James can routinely be found inspecting client’s sites to ensure a high level of quality. Justin Johnson has many specific manufacturer certificates for the many pieces of equipment involved in the DeSignia operation. His post-secondary education is experienced based having received training in Japan (where many small engines come from) among other places. Justin’s 18 years of equipment experience is a huge asset to the production of efficient work at DeSignia.
Harold Pressley holds a North Carolina pesticide license but his passion is creating healthy turf and plants. Harold has 21 years of experience in the horticultural industry with much of that experience directly related to turf. Harold is the creator of DeSignia’s industry leading traditional turf care program, the results of which can be seen throughout the Charlotte area.
Jonathan Seamon received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Catawba College. As the Business Manager with an emphasis on Human Resources, Jonathan ensures that our staff is well documented, trained and organized. He continues to glue all the facets of DeSignia administration together by implementing and managing a systems based approach to management.
Tony Ivey brings with him many years of construction experience with an emphasis on plumbing. Troubleshooting irrigation malfunctions, especially 2 wire systems has become his passion. Tony’s dedication to permanent irrigation and lighting solutions is a huge asset for DeSignia clients.
Cass Hargette is ICPI¹ and SRW³ certified. Cass has a unique passion for customer service and attention to detail. He has completed many complicated landscape projects already in his tenure with DeSignia.
