Wow! Just Wow! We are so happy with the results of the landscaping work – it looks amazing and even exceeds what we were expecting. Last night we sat by the fire pit, enjoying the beautiful new view. We love the design, Scott – and can’t wait to start the next phase! And Cass, thank you for such a fantastic job managing all the work – I’m quite sure we asked you close to a million questions, but you quickly and patiently answered every one (even responding late in the evening and so very early in the morning). The whole team on site were all incredible as well – so many hot days but they were here each morning ready to go, always pleasant, and we could tell everyone took a lot of care and pride in the work that they did here. Please let them know how much we appreciate the work they did and that the improvement they made here at our home will bring us a lot of enjoyment – a huge thank you to each of them!
There is no doubt you all know what you are doing – everything was done with such care and high quality – the results are amazing. But we also wanted to thank you for some of the other things that made a really big difference in this experience – the work site cleanup every evening, rerouting/improving the downspouts, helping troubleshoot the house power outage even when it turned out unrelated to any of the work being done/repairing and improving the location of the electrical box in the yard, the care taken in putting our fence back up every night so the dogs could continue to use the yard, the amazing alternative solution to the garden trug that was planned… we may not have mentioned it to you along the way but we saw it all and were so impressed.
Great design, great work is obviously important but these types of things really differentiate a company – and this only makes us more pleased that we chose DeSignia.
Thank you so much… looking forward to our next phase!

Joan and I want to thank you and your skilled DeSignia team for the complete transformation of our backyard. Two stages of artistic vision changed a little used deck and small backyard into a beautiful living space we now utilize year round.
First, where the aging, cramped deck stood, you saw and created a spacious, lovely hardscape complete with lighting and additional landscaping. Second, as we struggled with how to deal with an overgrown berm of junipers, you envisioned a solution that tripled the yard’s usable space, by replacing the junipers with sod and adding beautiful flower beds and a spectacular set of stone steps that tie the two levels of the yard together.
Even if we had the skill to perform the landscaping and paver work, which we don’t, we would never have been able to visualize how to so effectively transform the deck and juniper berm. This really makes us appreciate the artistic side of landscaping. We also want to comment on the skill and professionalism of your work crews. The workmanship is of the highest quality and the work areas were always left neat and tidy at the end of each work day.
We are now enjoying our patio and backyard every day, and with the knowledge that the resale value of our home is also enhanced. We are very pleased with our relationship with DeSignia. You have literally changed our lives.

I wanted to drop you a quick note of appreciation for the work your team just completed. In this day of cheap products and services, it was an absolute pleasure to do business with your company. Your crew, led by Steve Deluca, exceeded or expectations at every turn. They were highly professional throughout the entire job. Our mud-hole backyard is now a showcase! Even our dogs enjoyed the attention when you guys were on-site!
Thanks again for a wonderful consumer experience and please do not hesitate to use us as a reference.
To all the Staff and Management,
I just wanted to let you all know how pleased John and I are with the first phase of our landscape project. There were quite a few design obstacles to overcome and with your knowledge and creativity, the final product is absolutely beautiful. Mark Selles is a very gifted and talented designer and I thoroughly enjoyed working with him to create the overall plan. Steve DeLuca and his crew were so conscientious and professional in their preparation and completion of the landscape plan. It was so much fun to watch the progression from a muddy, post-construction pit to a wonderfully integrated outdoor living space.
I will enthusiastically recommend DeSignia to any of my friends and neighbors that are looking for a professional landscape company. I thank you for all your hard work and attention to detail. I look forward to working with you all again on Phase 2!

Dr. Mr. DeBoer,
My family and I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your recent work at our new home. We are delighted with the way our patio and grounds turned out. We could not be more pleased; from the design itself to the finished product.
We were particularly impressed with the attention to detail and competence of the crew that performed the work. They were on time each day, skilled, and attentive to clean-up. The foreman, Steve DeLuca, was especially professional and conscientious.
We have been complemented by friends and neighbors alike on the work your company performed. As we will have future landscaping projects the first call will be to DeSignia. Thanks again and feel free to use us as a reference.

To Whom It May Concern:
A couple of years ago my wife and I were interested in adding a patio in our backyard. We contacted three hardscape contractors to quote the project, which including DeSignia. At that time we were very impressed with the professionalism and knowledge that Henry DeBoer from DeSignia displayed when we my with him. However DeSignia was not the lowest quote that we received.
This past spring we decided to go ahead with our backyard patio and contacted the hardscape contractor that had the lowest price when we had previously bid the project. This particular contractor started the project in mid April with a promised completion date of the beginning of May. Three months later with the project half complete I was completely convinced that I had made a terrible decision on the selection of the contractor for my patio.
Recalling our meeting from a couple years prior, I decided to contact Henry to see if he could help me with my patio dilemma. Since I had not selected DeSignia to build my patio, I really was not expecting much help from Henry, however Henry agreed to meet with me to see what could be done. Henry provided some feedback and ideas on the existing patio structure in addition to a quotation to complete the project.
What a difference working with DeSignia versus the previous contractor. Their Project Manager, Steve DeLuca, and his crew were a pleasure to work with. Their dedication to doing a great job on a timely basis was quite evident. Before they started the job, DeSignia told me the patio would be complete in two weeks and two weeks later the patio was done. While DeSignia may not be the lowest cost hardscape contractor, I believe that they are well worth it. Knowing that you’re going to get a quality installation on a timely basis is priceless.
Thank you DeSignia,
This week, your fine team of landscape construction employees worked their magic over my front walkway, today leaving it handsomely renewed to as state of perfection with pleasing curves and attractive random placement of the new and old pavers. Further enhancing my pleasure is the fresh green of sod bordering the walk.
Throughout the time spent on the job, it was indeed refreshing to note how well each of the four team players worked together. Steve arrived promptly the first morning with James and Rigoberto and answered all of my questions to my completed satisfaction; he returned each day with words of encouragement for everyone. James and Rigoberto were able to remove all the bricks and excess soil that day and the next. When the reason for my mysterious seepage was revealed, I was ecstatic and relieved! The men took turns pumping out stagnant water and removing foul-smelling dirt and the next morning had the source permanently blocked with concrete. This problem having been solved, after the powdered gravel had been applied and tamped. James and Francisco quickly and efficiently lay the pavers, together creating the beautiful result I mentioned above. Then Francisco skillfully cut the pavers to fill in the odd-shaped spaces at the beginning and end of the walkway.
I couldn’t help but notice James’ leadership ability, inspiring both Rigoberto and Francisco to keep at it (in spite of the heat!) and give their all to the job. It was a treat as well to watch him solve the initial walkway width transition with the pavers, placing and replacing them until the effect satisfied him. I further commend James for his cooperative attitude and polite responses to my many questions and requests and for his insistence on leaving the site with a thorough clean-up.
Rigoberto uncomplaingly hauled load after load of surplus soil to a place near the pond where I needed it. I am most grateful to him and also to Francisco who today carried to the same place bags of odd pieces of sod.
